What Are You Fishing For?

In What Are You Fishing For?, Pastor Donnie reflects on John 21:1–6 and Matthew 9:37–38, reminding us how the disciples returned to what felt familiar when they were uncertain about their purpose. Yet Jesus met them there and called them to trust Him in a new way, asking them to do something that didn’t feel natural or easy. In the same way, we often resist the Holy Spirit’s leading when it pulls us outside our comfort zones. This message challenges us to stop settling for what’s convenient and instead follow where He leads, even when it requires change. When we’re willing to “cast on the other side,” we may find a greater harvest than we ever expected.
